project body type is a collaboration art work with Meng Shui studio

Project Body Type honors the human form with a typeface that requires you to acknowledge real people—and their diverse bodies—whenever you read or write with it.

But it’s more than just a typeface. It’s a collective effort of more than 50 people based in New York and other parts of the world; a series of stories from the participants about their experiences in their bodies. It’s a form of design activism from a team of creatives who believe in bodily autonomy.
